Fan responses to the Bad Company shows:

Paul, Mick and Simon:
Awesome Show!  Paul, your voice gets better with time.  Mick, clean
solo's and hopefully you'll bring MOTT to the U.S.  Simon, your still
have the endurance to kick butt, and thanks for the drumstick.
Meeting you all after the show was a once-in-a-lifetime event.  You
were all down to earth and really humble. Thanks also for signing the
drumstick, and for great memories.  LP&JP  from New Jersey

I had the extreme pleasure of seeing you guys at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL –June 17th 2009!!
You guys were -and are phenomenal!! How can your voice be so outstanding – even better – than when I saw you in 1978? Bad Co is honestly the BEST Band ever!! No one can come close to Paul Rodgers’ soulful voice!! PLEASE, please keep on touring – together – you guys make beautiful music together, it’s the perfect formula.
May God Bless You!!!
Jacqueline – Clearwater, FL

Guy's,
My 20 year old son and I caught your Atlantic City show yesterday, you
guys blew us away, after more than 35 years, the music sounds as fresh
as when it first came out.

Paul Rodger's vocals were amazing. Everything about the show, the
small intimate venue, the balanced set list, the lack of special
effects, and especially the music, was amazing. My son, who's a music
major in college, made specific note of how well the sound was mixed,
perfectly balanced. It was very refreshing to not have the special
effects, your music was the star last night.

Thanks again for a great show.

Paul

Watching Bad company in Bethel was an awesome experience !!!!!! Paul rodgers has lost nothing his voice is sweet as ever and the rest of the band was amazing  I can't wait to buy the new dvd and would love to see them add more tour dates and hopefully a new album someday.

Hi Paul,

Just wanted to say what a grand time hubby and I had at CMAC show July 2.  Was very memorable to see yourself, Simon and Mick together again.  You guys were totally rocking that night, I missed catching the drum stick Simon threw as it was about one foot ahead of me and I was much smaller than those surrounding me so my reach was not as long....for drat!  I hope you guys had a blast playing together again, as much as us fans enjoyed it.

We will always be their at any Bad Company show within reach, or Paul solo....Paul you burn down every stage you walk out on...totally smokin.....loved hearing Burnin Sky...as you have so many great tunes, was a blast to hear one not usually done live....and also....LOVE watching Paul spin that mic stand....is a talent in and of itself....sends chills down my spine...thanks again for an unforgettable night Paul...you are my number one musical love.  Your voice is a musical instrument that surpasses all others....keep safe. well and happy.....

Will never forget the hug I gave you in Chicago....

Shelley

Hi Paul
This goes out to you and the band. We drove about 4 hours from our home in Kingston, On, Can to see the show in Canandaigua and it was worth every km. I was a teenager when Bad Co was in its' prime and never got to see the band play at that time. I know they continued on recording/touring after you left but I did not have the interest to see them after your departure. I was also a major Queen fan at that time and was lucky enough to see the Jazz tour in Montreal. I know you have toured with Brian and Roger over the last few years but was unable to attned the Toronto show. The show in Canandaigua was pure magic. It was like seeing the show that I wished I had seen 25 years ago. The songs have withstood the test of time and the energy level at the show was incredible. I know this was a one off, but honestly, there must be millions of fans out there like me, who never got to hear these timeless songs in their heyday, and would be elated to hear them now. Thanks to you and Simon and Mick (and the supporting players) for a magical evening and recording these songs in the first place. I think a world tour is definitely in order.
cheers and best regards
Mark

Guys, my girlfriend and I were in attendance at your performance at the concert in Canandaigua, NY, CMAC on 7-2-2009. I got to tell you, it was just like going back 25+ years. Bad Company STILL has it and in my estimation, is just like a bottle of wine. It just gets better and better with age. I am 60 years old and I , like most of the people in attendance that evening, stood up all during your concert and just sang along with the band and of course you just can't stand still, you got to boogie!. We want to thank you for a GREAT performance and the showmanship BAD COMPANY exhibits. If ever you are on tour again in the Central NYS area, we again will be in attendance. Again, thank you for a great evening and performance.

Saw you last night at Pine Knob (DTE). I have been a huge fan since high scool in the 70's and you have been my all time favorite band ever since. I think that paul has the most amazing voice and still sounds awesome as ever. You really rocked last night. Thank you so much for getting back together for the fans.
With much love and gratitude,
Juli

I have been a huge fan of Bad Company since I was introduced to your music as a teenager in the early 80s.  I had the good fortune of seeing Queen + Paul Rodgers when they came to Glendale, Arizona several years ago and began following Paul Rodgers more closely at that point, hoping to have the opportunity to see him live again.  When I heard that the original members of the band were reuniting for a concert, I waited excitedly for the announcement of date & locations, only to discover there were none on the west coast.

However, this was a concert I could not miss!  I therefore purchased tickets and made plans to visit Virginia Beach specifically to see this concert.  I was not disappointed!  The concert was amazing.  Paul's vocals were pristine, and Mick Ralph's guitar simply amazing! Thank you for allowing the opportunity for your fans to remember what we love about Bad Company!

Sincerely,

Paula S.

Dear Bad Company,

We saw your show last night at DTE Energy in Clarkston, Mi and it was spectacular!!  I have been a fan since I was a teen and now in my forties and this was my first opportunity to see all of you and we were not disappointed. Paul Rodgers'voice is incredible, so powerful, it really is moving. Of course the other band members Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke were great, the Bass player with The Red Wings shirt on whom I did not know the name of was great too. Please come back and see us in Michigan!! Thank you.

My wife and I traveled from Birmingham, Alabama, to Bethel this past Saturday to catch your fantasic show. Blew us both away. What a great band, and an absolutely talented and professional showman like Paul, still an awesome singer and performer. I'm 60, so I've been around as long as ya'll probally, and Free was and IS one of my favorite bands, along w/ Bad Co. Still listen to Free's music. Thanks Paul, for creating Free and Bad Co. bands.

Ironically, Birmingham AL  had their annual "City Stages" the weekend of June 19-21 and I saw The Dobbies there along with my favorite band, Skynyrd. Seeing the Dobbies twice in one week was great, and the two bands combined for one number was cool. Ya'll appeared to be having a blast, and Mick's guitar playing still remains awesome, as well as Simon's drumming. We got a kick out of Simon's drum sticks flying across the stage a couple of times. Howard Leese was absolutely stunning and awesome as well. What a great collection of musical artists.

Thanks again! The show was worth traveling for and my wife and I won't forget it, ever!

Just wanted to let you know that we really loved the show last night at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.  My husband and I have been listening to your music for many years.  We enjoyed listening to your mix of songs last night.  You played some songs that were older which we liked, some acoustic songs which we loved, and of course the most popular tunes like “Feel Like Making Love” “Shooting Star” and “Bad Company”.  You even treated us to a song you had never played live on stage which was a treat so everyone.  Paul, your voice is as clear and strong as ever.  We love you guys.  Please continue touring and making more great music.  Keep up the good work.  You are one of a kind.

Hello Guys,
You’ve always had such a great influence over my taste in music and yet, I’ve never seen you perform.  One of my very favorite songs is Electric Land-it’s just an incredibly sexy arrangement that totally overtakes me!!   Austin offers a fantastic music scene including Austin City Limits..would love to see you guys here early Summer/Fall 2009!!
~Angelia

Seeing that Bad Co. will tour in 2009 is a dream come true. I  sent an email to Simon at his website asking if there was anyway that this would happen.. A couple  years later I'm seeing it come to fruition.  I was a little young to catch Bad Co. in concert during the 70's. Bad Co has been my favorite band since I was in Jr. high.  Now I will travel from city to city to make up for all the times I did not see them! I can't wait!
God Bless you guys can't wait to see you!
       Brian in Denver Colorado

Dear Bad Co.,

I'm still rocking from your show last August at the Hard Rock. I brought a friend who didn't know your music and he was blown away as well. Also thank you very much for such a memorable evening. I never thought you would play Seagull which is my favorite Bad Co. song. You did play it and hearing it LIVE was amazing. Wow! What a show!
Stuart S.

Wow...what brilliant news. Paul, love you with Queen but it'll be great to see you back with the old band...Can't wait.

Keep Rockin'

Hi Paul! My older cousin turned me on to Bad Company when I was 13 years old...now 43, I have to hear a Bad Company song every morning on the way to work or my day just isn't good. I have my XM set to tell me when a station is playing Bad Company and when it alerts me, I can't press the button fast enough!! I absolutely love your voice!!! I could listen to it all day. I had a chance to see you in Floida around 1998/1999 but something happened and I could't make it. I was SO BUMMED. I would love to hear you in person!! I can't even tell you what my favorite song is because I love every single one of them!!  I'm so glad my cousin had those albums!!!

Marty

I have to say that Bad Company has been my favorite band of all time. When I first heard Can't get enough, I was hooked. I listen to you guys all the time, my most listened to list include Good Loving Gone Bad, Burning Sky, Young Blood, Movin On, Feel Like Making Love and Lonely For Your Love. You guys are great!

Dan

Hello Paul and Bad Co

I saw you with Bad Company in 1979 in San Antonio,Tx,USA.  I took my girlfriend and we had a most pleasurable time.  Hope all is well and God Bless.

 Louis

Hey Hey Bad Company
I saw you all in the 70s and you all remain close to my heart. Your music is a fresh as it was back then.
How about bringing back the real sound of Bad Company !!  Baby when I think about you, I think about Love..........

Live for the music  !! Diane - Buffalo NY

I have been waiting for years Bad Company tour and would LOVE to see
you guys in concert.  I read that you were in concert in August and
am sorry I missed it. Would you please consider touring again in
California? I know many friends who would love to see you. I have so
many great teenage memories of playing Bad Company records.  Please
come to California and tour in 2009!
Thanks,
Farryn Melton

I have been a Bad Co. fan ever sense the 1st album. I hope u guys can get back together for an album and tour. I always felt you guys had the rank of "Super Group" just like Led Zepplin,Pink Floyd,The Who,The Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. Paul Rodgers/Mick Ralphs/Boz Burrell/Simon Kirk

I have seen your band EVERY time you came to Tennessee and Missouri.  Bad Company is the only #1 band and to me you out rate Elvis, Kid Rock and Elton John as far as performers.  I check your tour dates every year waiting to see you again.
Have to agree with several other comments....  You are the greatest band in Rock & Roll history.
Your band is the only band I can listen to everyday and still feel like it's the first time I heard it.

Outstanding show from Row 8!  My compliments on perfect opening and closing song sets – hearing Honey Child and Sweet Lil Sister ‘back to back’ live was the ultimate…!!  Overall, a high quality concert experience for friends and fans.  I look forward to your return to Miami.

Let’s get that Hard Rock concert DVD out asap!  Original Bad Company needs more exposure and recognition for its musical contributions to rock‘n roll. So, please consider the rebroadcast of this show on one of the current HD concert channels.  More people need to hear and see the absolutely unique crunching, blues rock sound that is Bad Co.

 Best ~ dkw

I was at the Bad Company gig at the hard rock in Hollywood August 8th. The band was splendid , as was the show and most importantly Paul's voice. I have had the pleasure of seeing Paul a few times. Twice with Jimmy at the ARMS show in New York and twice with each tour the Firm did.
This show was by far my favorite over all. That voice, those songs. I sincerely hope there will be more shows in the future;) I noticed Paul's voice seemed to get better and stronger with each song. Burning sky and rock n roll fantasy were high points as was the opening , Bad Company. Love you Paul, you are clearly among the ranks of greatest rock singers ever! Come back to the hard rock with Bri and Rog ;)Best wishes on the new album.
Peace & Love
Peter

Love, Marilyn in Texas

What an incredible show!  That show was like a Rock & Roll dream!  The band
was tight.  Paul's voice was excellent.   I never thought I get a chance to
see those songs performed live again by you guys. You put some ROCKERS on
that set list.  Thank you for such an unforgettable concert! The great thing
is that it was captured on DVD for the whole world to see that Bad Company
truly remains one of the greatest bands in Rock & Roll history!

Dr. Mike

I like to consider myself as a pretty experienced concert goer, and  this
was one of the best shows that I have ever seen. I knew it would  be good
but I was expecting some bobbles along the way due to the gap  in-between
tours.
This show was flawless. The enthusiasm of the band was overwhelming.  They
were sincerely pumped up at the end of the show knowing what a  hell of a
job they did. I am looking forward to the DVD and if they  should come in
concert again...I am there!!!!!
I came from out of town and it was so worth the drive.
Thanks so much,

Melanie

Thank you Bad Company for a fantastic show at the Hard Rock in Hollywood.  I saw you back in 1974 in Chicago.  It was the loudest concert I had ever been to.  I bought my tickets as soon as I heard you were in concert. I came down from Tampa and what a great time!  I will be getting “our” DVD. Please tour again cuz you all were great!  Rock on Bad Co.!

Vicky

Dear all,

It was a great show at the Hard Rock Arena.  I achieved the dream to see and hear Paul Rodgers singing alive. I am 51 years-old and since the end of the 60's a follow Rodgers career at Free, Bad Co, solo, The Firm, and others.  He was in superb form. Also Simon and Mick. Great to see Bad Co performing. Murillo

Hey you guys were GREAT, WONDERFUL, down right kick ass last night, at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fl. Looking forward to the cd/dvd from your concert. Best concert by far in years around this area. Take care, love and peace, Sandy and Jim

I just wanted to thank you guys for the greatest Concert experience ever!!!  I'm still flyin' hig h from your show last night at the Hard Rock.  It was amazing, It was PERFECT!!!!  I feel incredibly honored to have been present for this historic event.  I danced my ass off all night & left the Hard Rock a sweaty euphoric mess!!!  I can't remember the last time I had this much fun!!!  I just wished you guys could have played twice as long as you did.  Every song was great yet there are so many more that we would have died to hear!  What a great treat that was.  Thank You  a zillion times.  I sure can't wait for the DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  All I can say to each of you is Honey Child, Don't ya know you drive me WILD????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Peace & Love, Patti in Delray Beach, FL

I have to tell you, that show was one of the top concerts I have ever seen. For comparison purposes, I saw Elvis, I saw Queen w/ Freddie Mercury, I have seen the AC/DC with Bon Scott, Led Zeppelein in '77. Fleetwood Mac in '79.

Collectively you just blew us fortunate few away with an incredible PERFORMANCE! Not like touring/burned out, but a Production that will make your DVD a must.

Thanks for the memories!!!!

Rob

My heart was filled with so much love on the night of 8/8/8 in Florida. I came from Tokyo, Japan. It was a wonderful gift from my family. I was a bit lonely.  But the arena was filled with your love & passion for the music and for us, like always have for over 3 decades. Every song you played, we sang together. We were one, no races, no hates, no gaps.  We just love your music. Thank you and I love you all !!

Naomi

I crank it up as loud as I can and jam to it all the time. Please keep singing . Thanks, Lisa

What can I say..........8 - 8 - 8 was just a dream concert. !!!!  I never thought I'd see the day that BAD COMPANY would rock like that again.  I felt like a 20 year old kid
singing along and rocking to Bad Company.  Looking around the arena was just amazing to watch. Paul and the band were so on !!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN !!
The pace of the show was fast a furious..........Not one moment to even think about anything but - What was coming next......
I cannot wait to see the DVD of this unbelievable show. !!!!! Boy am I happy I went to this show.............. THANK YOU BAD COMPANY. Lucy
